The Library is open once again!Library Hours:
9:00am - 4:00pm every day.
Why do we call it a "Li-Blog-ary?":The Bay Area Writing Project's sponsorship of school library weblogging, here in Galileo's Digital Agenda and in an earlier incarnation, is, we tentatively boast, the first school library Web log initiative in ... the world? At least if you check Peter Scott's very thorough Index to Library Journals, Newsletters and 'Zines, you'll find that we're the first mentioned there (as Martin Luther King Academic M.S.). We started way back in spring semester, 2000. But we're more than a news source. In our Writing Project - influenced vision, we're the academic hub of the school. Click around the home page navigation bars and you'll find links to
A detailed listing of the library's mission and goals can be found at this link. Comments and questions (including debunking of our boasts) are welcome. You can, if you must, e-mail to the work account of Mr. Delaney,
your harried and slightly loud librarian, his associate webmaster,
Harry (shown to the left), and their spectacularly brilliant, helpful
and polite teaching assistants.
I was one of the school board members (Seattle area) visiting last Monday, and wanted to let you know I'm very impressed with the li-blog-ary - so much info, so many links! I will forward the address to our high school librarians & see what they think...

Really enjoyed the library visit on the open-house tour last night. It's refreshing (and unfortunately rare) to see a public school librarian who's so enthusiastic and excited about his work.
