    n. The act of attending. The persons or number of persons that are present. The frequency with which a person is present. The act of being present (at a meeting or event etc.) [ant: nonattendance] The frequency with which a person is present; "a student's attendance is an important factor in her grade" The number of people that are present; "attendance was up by 50 per cent" Example: His attendance (= the number of times he attends) at school is poor; Attendances (= the number of people attending) at the concerts went down after the price of tickets increased.
